Plantation drive
Plantation Drive is held on 10th and 11th June 2024 Ballari Forest Department area near BITM College. BITM SUSTAINA Sustainable group in association with NSS. Dr. Santosh V Janamatti was the Event Co-ordinator and Sanjay P S and Sathvik V S were the Student Co-ordinators of the event. On June 1st 2024, BITM SUSTAINA Club summited the Requesting letter for Issuance of Samplings to Forest Department and Horticulture Department. Later club has received 100 saplings 50 plants from Forest Department and 50 plants from Horticulture Department. Totally we had received the 50 registrations from club for Plantation drive event.
Plantation Drive Day – 1
On 10th June 2024 all the registered club members had gone to forest Department area for digging 50 pots were dug by all the club members on day 1. It was a really great experience to all us that we are going to closely to nature and getting connected to it.
Plantation Drive Day -2
On 11th June 2024 along with the 50 registered club members another 50 students from Kishkinda university and 5 MBA student had joined for the event. All the participants of club had actively participated in the event. BITM Principal had come to our plantation event we had received positive feedback from the sir. Totally we planted 100 plants around the forest department area.
