The IEEE Student Branch at BITM successfully organized Neo Nexus 36.0, a National-Level 36-hour hackathon held on 6th and 7th September 2025. Conducted in association with IEEE SIGHT and BITM SUSTAINA, the event brought together students, developers, and innovators from across the country to solve real-world challenges through technology-driven solutions.
The hackathon was centered around the theme “Code the Change, Secure the World, Sustain the Future,” focusing on domains such as Cybersecurity, Sustainable Environment, Mobility & Smart Technologies, and Advanced Technologies including AI, ML, and IoT. The event was conducted in two phases, starting with an abstract evaluation round followed by a 36-hour on-site prototype development phase. Out of 174 valid submissions from 17 colleges, 40 teams were shortlisted for the final round.
During the hackathon, participants worked intensively with mentorship from industry experts representing organizations like Bosch, MathWorks, CoreEL Technologies, and iMatiz. The event included multiple development sessions, evaluations, and final pitching, where teams showcased innovative solutions addressing real-world problems.
The hackathon concluded with an award ceremony recognizing top-performing teams for their creativity, technical excellence, and impact. Overall, Neo Nexus 36.0 served as a dynamic platform for innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning.
