VizDataPro: Big Data & Visualization
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) at Ballari Institute of Technology and Management (BITM), Ballari, in association with the IEEE Computer Society, BITM Branch, successfully conducted a 5-Day Student Development Programme (SDP) titled “VizDataPro: Big Data & Visualization” from March 23 to March 27, 2026. The programme was designed to equip students and faculty with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in modern Big Data technologies and advanced data visualization techniques, fostering practical skills and industry-relevant expertise.
Objectives:
To introduce participants to Big Data concepts and technologies
To provide hands-on training in data visualization tools
To enhance analytical and problem-solving skills
To bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices
Outcomes:
Improved understanding of Big Data technologies
Enhanced skills in data visualization and dashboard creation
Exposure to real-world data analysis scenarios
