The IEEE Student Branch at BITM organized a technical talk on 22nd February 2025 at the BITM Auditorium, delivered by Dr. Parameshachari B D. The session focused on highlighting the importance of IEEE in supporting students’ academic and professional growth, along with various funding opportunities available through the organization.
Dr. Parameshachari explained how IEEE serves as a global platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and skill development. He emphasized the benefits of being an IEEE member, including access to technical resources, professional communities, and career advancement opportunities. A major part of the talk was dedicated to informing students about different funding options such as research grants, scholarships, and collaborative programs that can support their academic projects and research initiatives.
