The Department of Civil Engineering celebrated Engineers’ Day on 15 September 2026 with great enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of India’s most distinguished engineers and visionaries. The occasion honoured his outstanding contributions to engineering, infrastructure development, and nation-building.
The HOD, faculty members, and students paid tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya and remembered his remarkable legacy and dedication to the engineering profession.
On this occasion, Dr. T. H. Patel, Civil Engineer and Former HOD of the Department of Civil Engineering, was invited as the Guest Speaker. He addressed the gathering and shared his valuable professional experience and insights on engineering excellence, innovation, ethics, and professional responsibility.
His insightful interaction inspired students to pursue engineering with knowledge, dedication, integrity, and social responsibility.
