The IEEE Student Branch at BITM, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI), organized a 3-Day Student Development Program on Project Development Methodologies (PDM-2025) from 1st to 3rd September 2025 at the BITM Auditorium. The program aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills required for effective project development and real-world implementation.
The first day focused on the fundamentals of project development, where students were introduced to key concepts such as problem identification, requirement analysis, and structured planning. Sessions also covered popular methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, emphasizing teamwork, workflow management, and proper documentation.
The second day provided hands-on learning through real-world case studies and group activities. Students actively engaged in problem-solving, implementation strategies, and debugging techniques, helping them bridge the gap between theory and practice.
On the final day, the focus shifted to project presentation and evaluation. Students showcased their work and received constructive feedback from faculty members on design, execution, and improvement areas. Guidance on effective presentation techniques helped students better communicate their ideas.
Overall, the program enhanced students’ understanding of project lifecycle management and prepared them for academic and industry-level projects.
