This programme focuses on theoretical and practical application of computer technology in enabling the students to be knowledgeable in programming, Analytical Ability, Networking, Computational Techniques, Operating Systems, Multimedia Communication Methods, Simulation, Modeling, Artificial Intelligence, etc. The students are motivated to take up the research activities. The graduates of this discipline will also have adequate mathematical and software skills.

Special Features
The Department conducts regular workshops, seminars, debates, etc., for the students of MCA in each semester. Each student of every semester is bound to present concept seminars, which will improve his/her ability in presentation and also build-up confidence. Well equipped library with more than 1400 volumes and 70 titles are available exclusively for MCA students. A full networked browsing centre is kept open for the students.

Mission: To achieve professional excellence through quality education in Computer Applications and there by develop a competitive professionals with proper leadership, commitment and moral values.

Eligibility for Admission
Candidate with any Bachelors Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages, if any, must have studied Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or equivalent, or at Degree level.
