Significant Achievements of Entrepreneurship Development-Cell & Incubation Unit:

  1. College had set-up E-Cell an Entrepreneurship Development & Incubation Cell since 2001 ably guided by the Director & Serial Entrepreneur Dr Yashvanth Bhupal. Subsequently college started BIIRED-BITM Industry Institute Relations & Entrepreneurship Cell and its office is located in Bangalore to enable funding and liaison with the agencies to help the aspiring entrepreneurs to monetize their idea.
  2. College has incubated 2 companies in this academic year 2015-16 namely OrderNow-Android Mobile Application-Mr Sharan-ECE third year student and Vayuputra Motorsports-Mr Sai Kubera final year Mechanical Students. Both the companies are registered under the Registrar of Companies Act.
  3. College is on the verge of setting-up Incubation centre in Robotics Lab in collaboration with IIT Bombay.
  4. E-cell has collaboration with Infosys, Wipro & Texas Instruments to enable students to learn the different aspects of IT Business. Wipro has set up technology learning center lab to groom the budding engineers for product development.
  5. To foster Social Entrepreneurship BITM has an MoU with LEAD(Leaders Accelerating Development) run by Desh Deshpande Foundation(Founder of Sycamore Networks & Co-Brother of NR Narayana Murthy-Founder Infosys)
